You can say so much…
But actions speak louder than words… That’s why we would like to show you what we are capable of. And, let’s not beat around the bush, that’s no small feat. ‘Powerlifting’
Lift, hold high for a moment, deadlift … and lower again. A clever feat of powerlifting, performed by four telecranes from Van Schie. It happened in Woerden, where the middle section of a heavy concrete bridge had to be briefly lifted to let a couple of houseboats through.
Floating solar park
A “floating solar meadow” consisting of 13,400 solar panels is being constructed in a small lake, on the Amer power plant site.
Off the gas
An innovative underground water buffer is being built in Nagele, storing heat in the summer that can be used again in the winter.
‘The Big House’
This is what mobile tower cranes are made for: high-rise buildings, limited set-up space and a job that requires a large flight.

Travel refrigeration units
On the roofs of the large number of data centers around Amsterdam are many hundreds of cooling towers. They have to cool all the hard-working servers, which generate so much heat that they could not function without air conditioning.
“Cool little bridge”
“Cool little bridge,” was the comment from Feijenoord’s youth soccer players. The steel bridge – Van Schie’s own design – provides access to one of the Rotterdam soccer club’s practice fields.
Historic restoration in Zaltbommel
The city of Zaltbommel is surrounded by fortifications: a wide, tree-lined belt with wide canals that connect to the river Waal on the north side. One of those moats – the inner moat – was neglected, silted up and dried up for centuries, until there was no longer a moat at all.
‘The Bridge of Sighs’
Across the North Holland Canal are five so-called raft bridges. The youngest of the five, the Rekervlot Bridge, is regularly the child of the bill. It is the numerous technical failures and ship collisions that cause a lot of misery.
There at that mill
The quays along Amsterdam’s canals are in bad shape. There is a lot of overdue maintenance. A total of 200 kilometers (!) of quays, banks and bridges need to be renewed and restored. One of the most appealing locations is the wharf around the oldest sawmill in the world: mill “The Otter.
Bridge from the printer
In Amsterdam, in the heart of the red light district, there has recently been a bridge manufactured in one piece by a 3D printer. It is the world’s first 3D printed bridge made entirely of stainless steel.
Fully certified pontoon
The composition of this pontoon is unique. First, because the formation consists of 9 innovative VSP770 pontoons.
