Because the entire platform must be anchored to the bottom, 52 concrete blocks were sunk. It was done from a pontoon owned by Van Schie with a 60-ton telecrane. After the blocks were in position, they were uncoupled by divers.

A “floating solar meadow” consisting of 13,400 solar panels is being constructed in a small lake, on the Amer power plant site.
