New SK597-AT4 for Van Schie!
January 2018 – The new year is off to a perfect start! Just delivered our brand new Spierings SK597-AT4 mobile tower crane in Mijdrecht. The SK597-AT4 is the fourth and newest generation of the Spierings hydraulic four-axle mobile tower crane. The SK597-AT4’s 4-piece boom offers 48 meters of flight, at a compact vehicle length.
Having recently purchased our largest mobile tower crane in the world (the SK1265-AT6), Van Schie’s fleet is expanding even further to meet the needs of our clients. The maximum lifting height is 27.8 meters with the boom in the horizontal position and as much as 58.1 meters with the boom in the 45-degree raised position. The SK597-AT4 features the latest technology in cranes. The crane can lift its maximum load of 7,000 kg without the use of additional counterweight sections. Also, with only 4 minutes for stamping and 8 minutes for unfolding, set-up time is unmatched in speed.
Thanks to the hydropneumatic suspension system, high and low gears and multiple steering programs, the crane has excellent maneuverability on both a construction site and public roads. A few features of this topper at a glance:
