Lifting with care

This popularity is a logical consequence of our country’s increasing aging population and overcrowded nursing homes. Placement on private land does not require an environmental permit in most cases, although the rules may vary from one municipality to another. It depends, for example, on whether the plot is inside or outside the built-up area, whether the existing building is a monument and whether the area of the unit stays within the limit of 100 m2. There is, however, one important condition: the occupant must hold an informal care indication. The companies that offer these units often also take care of the “arrangement work,” such as applying for the permit, transportation, hoisting, any earthwork, utility connections and applying for a separate house number.
