Hardwood bulkheads

Construction sites and festival grounds are often accessed through sandy soil, grassy fields and other soft surfaces. Heavy equipment in particular then experiences problems getting to where it should be… That’s when our bulkheads offer a solution.

Azobé dragline bulkheads are simply in stock at Van Schie in all shapes and sizes. These can be delivered to site and also laid out with our special crane trailers. Pick-up from our business location in Mijdrecht is also among the possibilities.

Our dragline baffles have many applications:

  • As bulkhead bridges
  • For covering pontoons for protection
  • As stamping for cranes
  • For realization of construction roads on swampy ground
  • As ramps

Flooding

Should you require a complicated structure, such as in the form of an overpass, we will be happy to provide you with advice or design. Bulkheads can be used to construct an overpass strong enough for truck traffic. The canopy can serve as an entrance, as well as bridging ditches and gullies. Ask our rental experts for the best solution.
