The claims inspection process at our organization used to be complex and time-consuming. In cooperation with Axians, the Inspection App was developed. Van Schie employees use this app to perform damage inspections when returning rental products to determine if damage has occurred.
The app records all relevant information per rental order, including customer details, a record of the items rented and information about previous damage inspections.
This allows us to generate a report for each customer with just a few clicks, revealing whether damage has been caused. This makes for more transparency and better customer contact!
Digital ambitions
“Jasper Kop, Product Owner at Van Schie, emphasizes our company’s digital ambitions, “Van Schie strives to eliminate paperwork on the shop floor. We are therefore investing heavily in ICT. Using applications such as the Inspection App, we want to digitize and optimize traditional processes. The nomination for the Computable Award is recognition of our work to achieve this ambition.”
Bart Evers, Business Unit Manager at Axians, added: “At Axians, we strive to help customers improve and transform their business processes using technology. This nomination is confirmation of our ability to provide innovative solutions that add real value for end users. It is a great recognition of our long-standing collaboration to digitize and make processes at Van Schie more efficient.”
