The VSP1250 has been developed for maximum flexibility and offers countless application possibilities. Within the infrastructure sector, this pontoon is frequently deployed as a loading and unloading pontoon or as a work platform for, for example, excavators, telehandlers, aerial work platforms, soil testing machines, foundation machines, and telescopic cranes. This allows a wide range of operations to be carried out safely.
In addition, the VSP1250 is ideal as a (temporary) mooring facility in ports, on a transport pontoon, or as a ferry, or as a floating bridge. For extra functionality, the bridge can even be configured to open.
Unique coupling system
The innovative coupling system remains in the pontoon during transport, ensuring that the coupling elements are always immediately available at the right location. This not only increases efficiency but also reduces additional transport. And that is good for the environment. The pontoon can be easily coupled and uncoupled while standing, ensuring an ergonomic working method. Despite the light weight of the coupling, it offers exceptionally high strength (25 tonnes).
Certification
Thanks to the DNV certification of the pontoon and coupling system, you are assured of a safe and reliable solution. If the pontoon assembly is used as a floating work platform, a Certificate of Survey (CvO) is mandatory. If desired, we can provide this, as well as extensive stability and strength calculations, so that you can get to work in compliance with laws and regulations.
