The formation is obtained by connecting a number of elements by means of longitudinal coupling pins in multiples of 4.60 meters. Also available are sections 1.65 meters in length. In width, the sections can be connected by means of intermediate grids with a width of about 1.30 meters.
Driveways are made possible by the fact that compound ramps of about 5 meters can also be connected. Van Schie can also install various types of supports and abutments in the water, which should be used as bearing points for the connectable Treadway sections, if the span is too large relative to the desired load.
Treadway bridges can be built both on land and over water. For example, they can also be constructed as drilling rigs on a construction site, or as driveway ramps for a loading dock and as overpasses.
