Another section – with homes for every wallet – is still under development. There, digging, drilling and pile driving are still in progress. Van Schie will also be there with the latest Mobilram ABI piling rig.
This Holland Park West will house 750 homes, requiring 962 piles to be driven into the ground. The sheet pile walls that had been installed at an earlier stage now had to be removed again. Not an easy job. It involved 65 steel planks, 14 meters long, which had to be pulled out of the stuck clay. With the latest ABI TM 14/17V, this went off without a hitch.
The crane features an effective vibratory block, a very clean engine (stage 5) and an operational docking system that allows the operator to change attachments at the push of a button, without having to change all kinds of hoses first. In addition, the crane has an extra strong mast with a large usable length. Last but not least, it can be assembled in no time.
